i think I've decided...

I think I've decided what course I'm going to take this fall. Primitive and Folk Medicine. Sounds interesting, and I know the professor very well. I'm really looking forward to school starting again, the fall time, the cold weather, the snow. All of it. I love the academic season.

anthropology hiatus almost complete...

I've been doing some reading, but I haven't posted here in a while. Rest assured, however, that I will be taking another Anthro class in the fall quarter, I just haven't decided which one. There are a few to choose from, some that are requirements, others that will just be fun.

My decision might be based on what's happening at work. There's alot of stuff going on right now with systems and stuff, I'm being given more responsibility. I'll need to be able to easily balance work and school. This means that I'll likely take something that won't be too taxing, like an ethnology or something. Later this winter, when the changes have died down, I'll likely jump into theory.

Meanwhile, I'll keep my eyes open for positions available that can pay my bills at the Archaeological and Historical Services department. Maybe one day, I can actually DO anthropology, instead of being an armchair anthropologist.
